Spend two full days in the Cascades around Leavenworth, with professional wildlife tracker, naturalist, educator and author, David Moskowitz. This wildlife track and sign evaluation is offered through CyberTracker North America. David's approach to this class is highly interactive, engaging participants in identification and interpretation of tracks and signs. There is lots of time for questions and discussion built in. The style of this class is an excellent way to learn about animal sign and investigate real life tracking scenarios. Participants have the chance to achieve a certificate at the end of the class, awarded on three levels. Prior CyberTracker students can take this class to attempt evaluation at a higher level. CyberTracker courses provide an opportunity for quality, focused learning with some of the best trackers in the country. Courses are designed to further participant's tracking knowledge, as well as to rigorously test and document their current tracking skill set. Originally designed to help African Bushmen gain employment on game preserves, these courses also provide an internationally recognized certification of tracking ability. Certifications are an important credential for wildlife researchers and environmental educators as well as for people who want to test and push their own ability. Evaluations are entirely field based, striving to expose participants to the widest range of tracks and signs as possible. Discussions are encouraged, giving participants a chance to air their thoughts and receive individualized instruction.

An album release concert! Behind Your Eyes, The Stars Are Born is a record five years in the making, a joyful, searching, ultimately hopeful celebration of the divine creativity alive in every human being. The night after his eighth album releases to the world, Benjamin Jay Thomas comes home to celebrate it. Behind Your Eyes, The Stars Are Born is a record five years in the making — a joyful, searching, ultimately hopeful celebration of the divine creativity alive in every human being. The release show at Snowy Owl Theater is the first full live performance of this music: an evening shaped as a Guided Concert, moving through song, poetry, moments of silence, and communal singing, supported by a handful of other voices from the Bring Forth community. The set will be a carefully crafted arc... an experience designed to let the music land the way it was written to land: in a room full of people, together. Behind Your Eyes, The Stars Are Born is Benjamin Jay Thomas's eighth full length album, five years in the making. It is his most sonically adventurous record yet - blending indie folk roots with the warmth and lift of indie pop - and his most personal: a full-throated celebration of the seed of divine creativity at the center of every human being. The album moves through longing and reconnection, through the rebel cry of imagination refusing to be shrunk, through the medicine of faithful witness and presence. It ends where it begins: in the heart, in the body, in the deep knowing that the Wisdom is you.

Join Cascade Community Markets for their annual Farm to Table Dinner Fundraiser. The evening will begin with a glass of bubbles and hors d'oeuvres in the silent auction along the bank of the Wenatchee River. The seven-course dining experience will feature produce from your favorite farms, each one introduced by the chef and paired with local wines or elixirs. Chefs this year join us from Szmania's Catering, Salt & Honey Cooking, Das Öl, and Argonaut Cafe. Wine is generously provided by Boudreaux Cellars, Watermill Winery, and Armour Wines. Then enjoy live music and a couple short live auction sessions featuring our biggest item, as well a paddle raise to get those donations flowing for a great cause. The online silent auction will start before the event, run throughout the evening, and feature gifts and experiences from local businesses. This year, thanks to sponsorship from Rhein Haus Leavenworth, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Leavenworth Properties, and CCH Rentals, we are thrilled to invite you to our 11th annual Farm to Table experience hosted at Warm Springs Inn & Winery! Proceeds from this event will benefit our local farmers markets in Leavenworth and Cashmere, with the first $5000 in donations made during the event directly funding our Good Farmer Fund. Another way to join the fun is as a volunteer server! Servers must be 21or older and available from 4:00-9:30PM on August 11th. Experience is not necessary, but a great attitude is. Email ellie.chikkaraju@gmail.com to volunteer. Please note: - This is a 21 and over event due to our Liquor Board permitting. - You can processing fees by purchasing tickets at either market.
