Climbing 1,665 vertical feet over 6.2 miles (10k) of rugged National Forest terrain the Leavenworth Firefighter Challenge will test the physical and mental endurance of the toughest competitors.
The race is followed by a party at Ski Hill with a beer garden, food booths, and live music.
The Leavenworth Firefighter Challenge is hosted by Chelan County Fire District #3 Firefighters. We are a combination department serving Leavenworth and the Upper Wenatchee Valley through response to both structure and wildland fire, EMS, and technical outdoor rescue.

Leavenworth Bike Fest brings back Bike 'n Brews and Bike 'n Juice for the kiddos. Add in the brand new SchötterFest Gravel Race; Alpen Tour de Flüsse century rides; live music on the Main Stage featuring Hell's Belles and other local favorites; a bike expo; food trucks; the official Icicle Brewing Finish Line Beer Fest - and we've got a festival on our hands!

Getting kids out on the snow and having fun is the idea behind the day - we want kids to leave with good memories and lots of smiles. All children are welcome to participate and all proceeds will benefit the LWSC Ski Teams. The event is open to any youth ages 6 through 17. The Bakke Cup is a 3-way race. GS and Jump results determine the start order of the Nordic race, which determines the overall finish results. Checkin/ Bib pick up: 8:00am - 8:50am- Check in/Bib Pickup Alpine Race: 9:30 - First racer starts (Warm up/course slip only (no racing) - 8:45-9:30am).
