Greenlight America is a mobilization hub supporting partners with local membership and reach to get clean energy projects sited and permitted in their communities. By supporting local community members advocating for clean energy at the local level, Greenlight has helped abate over a trillion tons of CO2-equivalent greenhouse gas emissions, which is like planting nearly 18 billion trees.

For this Red Barn Event, Greenlight’s Northwest Community Partnership Manager, Eli Duncan-Gilmour, will share about how Greenlight has achieved these results for clean energy, the lessons the organization has learned from over 100 campaigns, and what the future holds for local clean energy advocacy.

About Eli

Eli Duncan-Gilmour (He/Him) is Greenlight America’s Community Partnership Manager covering the Northwestern United States. Eli is a grassroots organizer, documentarian, and former United States Department of Energy Innovator Fellow hosted by the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians (ATNI), where he served as Acting Energy Liaison for 2 years. Eli is passionate about how the clean energy transition can benefit people and the planet together, and he enjoys building relationships to advance a sustainable future. Eli is based in the Washington, DC area.
