Musical Story Time!

📚 Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, crafts, imaginative play, and all-around fun! 🎶 This program is designed for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their adult caregivers. Our Musical Story Time offers children the opportunity for language and literacy development as well as social-emotional growth, through stories and music. Meet friends and make new ones every Tuesday at 10:30!

ATLAS (At the Library After School) Club

Kids in grades 3rd-5th are invited to participate in book-related activities with friends after school! Activities will vary every week and may include games, crafts, reading, and other projects that foster a love of reading and connecting over books. First and third Wednesdays, February through May, excepting Cascade School District breaks. Snacks provided by the Friends of the Leavenworth Library.

Banned Book Club - Telegraph Club

This month's book: Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo. Pick up a copy in April from the library to be prepared for the meeting! Join us for curious and respectful conversations about books that have been banned or challenged across the decades. We'll discuss why the books have been banned, what we think about them, and what they have to tell us about the time in which they were banned and their relevance today. What you need to know: - Meetings will take place on the second Saturday of the month, January through May, 10-11am. - No long-term commitment required! Just sign up for the books you are interested in reading. - Register and stop by the library during the month prior for your copy of the book.

Culture Critics Club (6th-8th)

This after-school meet up is for middle schoolers who love culture (books, movies, tv, music, video games, theater, art, dance, etc.) and have strong opinions about it! We'll talk about the things we love and hate and try to figure out why, and how our opinions reflect who we are and the culture we live in. Snacks provided by the Friends of the Leavenworth Library.
