Celebrate the season at Leavenworth Library with Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol!

Saturday at 10 am, library employees and community volunteers will read chapters from the classic novel aloud while those in the audience enjoy crafts, snacks, drinks, and good company! Bring your own quiet activity like knitting or drawing, or enjoy a craft provided by the library. All ages welcome.

Family Story Time

📚 Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, crafts, imaginative play, and all-around fun! 🎶 This program is designed for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their adult caregivers. Our Family Story Time offers children the opportunity for language and literacy development as well as social-emotional growth.

Possible projects include working with library staff to: - Plan library programs for teens - Curate book displays - Assist with social media - Write book or media reviews - Design a literacy-based project for the greater community Why join? - To build leadership skills - To earn community service hours, which is beneficial for - college applications and job resumes - To get to know other teens and library staff in your community - To help make the library a better place for teens - To have a positive impact on our community Meetings are on the first Thursdays of the month from October to March (except Jan 1), with the last meeting on April 9th. Location will alternate between Leavenworth and Peshastin Library.
